We’ve reached a new boiling point in our cities. Trickle-down division is reaching us all. Neighbors, co-workers, church folk, families and friends. Differences are good. Disagreements are expected. But today’s divisions seem more severe.
Some say more government, education or religion is the answer. But what if the answer has always been right in front of us? Not over there or with them. What if the antidote to the division was more simple. What if we took personal responsibility that solving our problems is up to us? We would join together, welcome our neighbor, respectfully engage conversation, appreciate our differences and find common ground. It would give the world a witness of how love shows up in the chaos. It would no longer be me against you, or you against me, but the strength of us, together, the power of we.

Q Commons is a town-hall style meeting that connects artists, entrepreneurs, politicians, church leaders and anyone interested in how the Christian faith can advance good in their local city. Hosted in 150 locations around the United States and the World, no other gathering unifies this many Christians on one night to give witness to our belief that our way to peace is to love God and love others. Q Commons will demonstrate what’s possible when we do.
